Fairway to Heaven Announces 2026 Charity Golf Tournament at Texas Star Golf Course

Fort Worth, Texas – Fairway to Heaven, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting local nonprofits through charitable golf events, is proud to announce its 2026 tournament will be held on November 9, 2026, at Texas Star Golf Course.

Since its founding, Fairway to Heaven has raised more than $425,000 for nonprofit organizations across Tarrant County, making a meaningful and lasting impact in the community. Each year, the organization partners with carefully selected beneficiaries to maximize both immediate and long-term support.

2026 Beneficiaries Announced

Primary Beneficiary: Methodist Justice Ministry
Justice Ministry provides free legal representation and ongoing support to vulnerable families impacted by abuse, neglect, and violence. By combining legal advocacy with compassionate care, MJM helps ensure children are placed with nurturing caregivers, breaking cycles of harm and creating stronger futures for families and the community.

Secondary Beneficiary: Hope (Local)
Hope (Local) works to support vulnerable families and children at risk of separation by stabilizing families in crisis, recruiting foster families for seasons of transition, and connecting children with adoptive families. Their mission ensures more children have the opportunity to grow up in safe, loving homes.

Fairway to Heaven’s unique model supports two organizations each year, with beneficiaries rotating between primary and secondary roles to create sustained and meaningful impact over time.

A Legacy of Impact
Fairway to Heaven was founded by Kim Dignum after a group of community members came together with a simple goal: to support a Fort Worth school serving underprivileged children. Led by two avid golfers, the group organized a charity tournament and raised $10,000, providing more than 60 bicycles to students who achieved perfect attendance.

If one tournament could benefit so many, the possibilities of more frequent events were endless. From that vision, Fairway to Heaven was born.

Since then, the organization has continued to grow its reach, supporting a wide range of nonprofits including Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Focus on Teens, LeaderKids, Hope (Local), Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, Project 4031, and more.

Looking Ahead to 2026
The 2026 tournament will feature an 8:30 AM shotgun start and a 4-person scramble format, bringing together community leaders, sponsors, and golfers for a day of competition, connection, and purpose.
